Hello, I'm Arup Samanta
I received my B.Sc. (Hons.) degree from Haldia Government College under Vidyasagar University (V.U.), West Bengal. Then I moved to Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur to pursue my Master's degree. In the mean time of my M.Sc. project work on Organic Chemistry I was intrigued towards research. For curiosity towards organic transformation, different catalytic reactions and their mechanism steer me to select research as my profession. To follow this passion I have joined for doctoral degree at IIT Guwahati as a Research Scholar under the guidance of Dr. Dipankar Srimani in 2020. I got Prime Minister's Research Fellowship in May 2021.
